Data Deletion Instructions

E M M A ("we", "us") respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of the data we hold about you, including any data we received when you signed in or connected to our store using Facebook or Instagram.

What data we may hold

Depending on how you use our store, we may hold: your name, email address, phone number, shipping and billing addresses, order history, marketing preferences, and — if you used Facebook Login — your Facebook user ID, name, profile picture and the email address associated with your Facebook account.

How to request deletion

You can request that we delete your personal data at any time, free of charge. Choose whichever method is easiest for you:

  1. Email us at hello@youremma.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Please send the request from the email address associated with your account, and include your full name and (if you have one) a recent order number so we can locate your records.
  2. Use our contact form on the Contact page and select or mention "Data Deletion Request" in your message.

Removing Facebook Login access

If you connected to our store using Facebook, you can also revoke our app's access directly from Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook Settings & Privacy > Settings.
  2. Open Apps and Websites.
  3. Find EMMA Login in the list and select Remove.
  4. Tick the option to delete the posts and activity the app shared, then confirm.

Removing the app stops any future data sharing. To also delete the data we already hold, please still send us a request using one of the methods above.

What happens next

We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and complete the deletion within 30 days. Once complete, we will confirm by email. Deleting your data means you will lose access to your account, saved addresses, wishlist and loyalty points, and this cannot be undone.

Data we may need to keep

We may be required to retain certain records — such as order, invoice, tax and payment records — for a limited period in order to comply with legal, accounting and fraud-prevention obligations. Where this applies, we will tell you which records were retained and why, and we will delete everything else.

Questions

For any question about this process or about how we handle your data, email hello@youremma.com or read our Privacy Policy.
