This scarf was inspired by Princess Nazly, an intellectual who formed the first cultural salon in Egypt and the East, where discussions and debates were held to enlighten minds and excite the curiosity of prominent figures of society. She was very intelligent, spoke six languages, and had ideas that were ahead of her time. She believed in the importance of girls’ education and established the first school for girls in Tunis.
